The ministry was birthed out of Isaiah 61:1-3 and Mark 12:30. God wants to heal His people if we will only let Him in. In order for Him to step in and heal His people, we have to love Him. It’s not a casual love either. He requires us to love Him with all our heart, all our soul, all our mind and all our strength. This ministry focuses on the following:
- To preach good tidings to the meek
- To bind up the broken-hearted
- To proclaim liberty to the captives
- Opening of the prison to them who are bound
- To proclaim the acceptable year of The Lord and the day of vengeance of our God (2nd Coming, Heaven and Hell).
- To comfort all that mourn
- To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified (A change of identity from being cast down and down trodden to being lifted up knowing who we are in Christ).
It is a ministry of healing and restoration. A ministry of teaching and exhortation (Romans 12:7-8) and a ministry of worship ushering His people into the presence of God. Recognizing that true intimacy in worship demands an intimate relationship with Our Lord Jesus Christ.
